Established in 1956, AACE International is the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering. Together with the AACE International Certification Institute, it serves over 10,000 members and certificates in 100 countries. Exclusively for its members, the AACE provides for more than 1000 recommended practices that focuses on effective project management and control. Cost Engineering is a field of study using integrated means and methods to enable sound decision making in enterprise asset management, to deliver projects on time, budget and quality. The AACE’s Body of Knowledge, a widely known book, is developed, refined, and deployed by industry professionals worldwide.
We set industry trends. AACE advocates for its Body of Knowledge and the people who employ it through iteration and innovation of trusted technical guidance and meaningful collaboration. In general, people who obtained the AACE certification on average earn 15% more than their peers who do not have the certification.
